The firm recently named attorneys Brandon DeGel and Heather Moraes as firm shareholders.
Brandon’s practice primarily involves real estate litigation matters, with a focus on contract disputes, title claims, construction litigation, mortgage and lien foreclosures, and commercial landlord-tenant matters. He also maintains a general commercial litigation practice in which he represents business owners, financial institutions, and insurance companies in litigation matters in Florida state courts and federal court.
Heather’s practice covers a wide range of commercial real estate law, with a focus on sales and acquisitions, development, construction contracts and commercial leasing. A significant portion of her practice surrounds big-box and shopping center retail, industrial and office development; counseling owners, landlords and tenants on various issues surrounding dispositions and leasing matters, including ground leasing. Heather has presented at numerous seminars on a range of commercial real estate topics, including as a featured speaker at a continuing legal education seminar on retail lease workouts.
