J.E. “Trippe” Cheek, III has been re-elected to the Board of Trustees of The University of the South (commonly known as Sewanee) as a lay representative from the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida. The Board of Trustees elects and appoints a Board of Regents, a Chancellor, a Vice-Chancellor, and a Chaplain to serve the University and governs matters related to the Charter, the Constitution, and the University Domain.
Trippe is an alumnus of The University of the South and an active member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
