Overview

Eric’s practice focuses largely on commercial lending, commercial real estate, and creditors' rights. He has extensive experience handling all stages of commercial loans, including origination, restructuring before and after default, workouts, enforcement of defaults through litigation and arbitration, and obtaining and collecting judgments. He represents local and national banks, credit unions, private equity funds, and other creditors in both transactions and in litigation, including commercial foreclosures, receiverships, actions to enforce guaranties in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and bankruptcy.

Eric’s practice also includes counseling businesses in complex mergers and acquisitions and guiding clients through all stages of corporate transactions. Additionally, he assists clients in resolving corporate disputes and in general commercial litigation matters.

An Orlando native, Eric earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, and going on adventures with his twin children.
