Firm shareholder Heather S. Moraes was recently named to the Florida Trend Legal Elite Notable Women Leaders in Law. Florida Trend editors selected the recognized nominees based on demonstrated leadership in professional organizations and civic/community service initiatives, mentorship of other attorneys and promotion of professional practices and values in the workplace.
As a real estate attorney, Heather advises regional and national clients on complex commercial real estate matters, with a focus on commercial leasing and retail development. She also serves in several leadership roles within the firm, including the initiation of the firm’s Alumni Engagement Program, which fosters meaningful connections with former attorneys. Additionally, Heather devotes time to mentoring and guiding associates and clerks. Heather is an active member of the ICSC, recently speaking at one of their national conferences. She is also active in Commercial Real Estate Women Orlando (CREW). She holds her “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale Hubbell and has consistently been named a Best Lawyers in America© in real estate law. Heather is an alumnus of Leadership Winter Park and a member of The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. She received her J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2005.
