Overview

Feibai Ma is an associate attorney specializing in bankruptcy and corporate law. Her bankruptcy practice includes representing Chapter 7 trustees as well as creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 cases. In her corporate practice, she mainly handles outside general counsel matters–including contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Feibai earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2023. During law school, she was a General Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law as well as a research assistant to Professor Annie Brett and Professor Christopher Hampson (focusing on data licensing and quasi-sovereign bankruptcy, respectively). She won a Mergers and Acquisitions Book Award from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Certificate of Outstanding Merit from the University of Florida International Center.

Originally from Nanjing, China, Feibai worked in Europe as an EMEA region business developer and coordinator for an automobile quality control company before attending law school. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and rock climbing with her husband Brent.

Feibai clerked for Winderweedle, Haines, Wards & Woodman P.A. during the summer of 2022 and joined the firm in 2023.
