WHWW is pleased to announce that attorney Syreeta McCoy has joined the firm’s estate planning section.
Syreeta brings over 10 years of legal experience with the State of Florida, where she worked closely with the judiciary in a wide variety of matters, including the areas of criminal, civil, juvenile & family law. Her work prior to law school, in the area of social services, includes extensive experience assisting in complex matters involving Medicare & Medicaid, health care surrogates, living wills, powers of attorney, mental health, and coordination with state agencies on a variety of matters.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Monmouth University, her Master of Social Work from University of Central Florida, her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University, College of Law, and is currently finishing her Master of Law in Taxation at University of Florida, Levin College of Law. She is admitted to The Florida Bar and is a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust, Tax Law, Elder Law sections. She is also a member of The Joseph W. Hatchett Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
