Vanessa J. Skinner is an attorney with the law firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A., practicing in the firm’s Winter Park office. Mrs. Skinner’s practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, probate and trust administration as well as corporate, intellectual property and litigation matters. She has written about estate planning and guardianship topics for the Orlando Sentinel and the Orange County Bar Briefs.
Mrs. Skinner is a member of the Florida Bar Charitable Organizations Committee, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Orange County Bar Association. She is also a member of Leadership Winter Park’s Class XX and the Rotary Club of Orange County East. She attended Rollins College where she earned her B.A. in English, with a minor in Communications, graduating with high honors in 1998. She obtained her J.D. from Florida A & M University College of Law where she graduated with high honors in 2007.
Prior to joining Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, Mrs. Skinner worked as a journalist and was published on the Associated Press Newswire as well as in a variety of newspapers and magazines. She also spent six years working as a personal injury litigation paralegal.
