
Ryan Davis is a shareholder with the law firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward, & Woodman. As a member of the firm’s bankruptcy department, Ryan is primarily involved with Chapter 11 Reorganizations and complex Chapter 7 liquidations, and has represented commercial lenders, chapter 11 trustees, corporate debtors, creditors’ committees, and other interested parties in bankruptcy related issues. In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Ryan handles various commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, real property litigation, and construction disputes.
Ryan is a current board member and officer of the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has lectured on a variety of bankruptcy topics and is admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida, and all districts of the federal courts in Florida.
A native of Orlando, Ryan attended Lake Highland Preparatory School, where he graduated as valedictorian. He was then awarded a full tuition Dean’s Honor Scholarship to Tulane University, where he graduated from in 1996, cum laude, after majoring in economics. In 1999, he earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida. During law school, he earned the trial practice book award.
After clerking with WHWW for two summers, Ryan joined the firm in 1999 and has been with the firm ever since. Ryan is an active member of Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association and is currently a board member.
