Lance A. Ragland

Lance A. Ragland is a shareholder with Winderweedle, Haines, Ward and Woodman, practicing in the firm’s Winter Park office. Mr. Ragland practices in the firm’s wills, trusts and estates practice area, counseling clients on estate planning matters and representing clients with regard to estate and trust administration and probate. He is also a member of the firm’s corporate and business law practice areas, representing clients in corporate and other business transactions and the formation of corporate and other business entities.

Mr. Ragland is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and is also a member of the Orange and Seminole County Bar Associations. He served as Co-Chair of the Estate, Guardianship & Trust Committee of the Orange County Bar Association (2005-2006) and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Winter Park Library (2007-2010).

Born in Litchfield, Illinois on November 13, 1970, Mr. Ragland attended both the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 1993. He obtained his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law, graduating in 1997. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1997.

Mr. Ragland worked as a compliance officer for INVEST Financial Corporation, a national securities broker-dealer, from 1997-1998, where he also obtained a Series 7, General Securities Representative license. From 1999-2001, he worked as a Wills, Trusts and Estates associate attorney before opening his own law office, Lance A. Ragland, P.A., in 2001, continuing his practice in those areas. In 2003, he joined Winderweedle, Haines, Ward and Woodman, where he currently continues his legal practice.
